Will _____________, The main character. (Protagonist) Don't forget to introduce your character. Their habits, speech, and quirks. But most important show how the situation affects them. Show how it affects their 'normalcy'. | |
overcome _________, The Obsticle(s). The obsticles find, engage, and interfere with the character. Not the other way around. They are a bully, an agitation, a threat. There is a certain level of aggression in an obsticle. An obsticle cannot be passive, such as big rock blocking the road. Rather it must be a barking dog, with glaring teeth chasing your character down that road, nipping at their very heels. To surrender to an obsticle is no less then death. |

to achieve __________? What the protagonist wants to accomplish. A goal is very much a character in itself. It lives, grows, and needs to find nurishment. It is active and engaging. It tells the story, not you. You merely act as its medium. It is speaking constantly in the words and actions of your story. Everything you write comes out of the goals mouth, everything you write relates to it. |
