A typical drama is comprised of five parts.

1. Premise

Shows the character and his place in the world. He should be made to do something that typifies his nature.

2. Conflict

An event happens which alters the established world. It is something our character cannot ignore and forces him to act and/or react.

3. Failure

An attempt is made to solve the conflict which not only fails but forces the character to do things he wouldn't normally do if he is to end the conflict.

4. Crisis

An unavoidable and final event. which represents the conflict. The character cannot avoid this and is forced to create some kind of action to deal with it.

5. Resolution

The character should react to an event that contrasts with the person they were at the start.
