Ladies and gentlemen we have a new home starting today!!! You'll see the new address below. I've changed it in hopes it will be easier to remember and relate to people. We don't quite have the funds yet for our own domain name (lets see how well the social goes :-)) so this is the best we could do.

You'll notice a new look and some changes. I hope you like it. So what are you waiting for? Run off and check it out, and don't forget to update those bookmarks!

The Lost Soles Social Tickets
NOW AVAILABLE!!!

Welcome to our web site!

Blue Moon

Hi everyone. This site is meant to act as a place where everyone can go to share their experiences and find help with making their own amature movies.

August 18, 2001

The Lost Soles Screening and Social is now official. It will be at Wise Guys Bar & Grill downtown on Thursday September 20th. The video is expected to be played at 7:30 with a buffet served at 8:00. Tickets are $5 and include a free drink and trip to the buffet.

Everyone who worked on the video will be given a free ticket. But as this is a fundraiser we hope you can help out and sell tickets to all your friends and family! Its really very cheap for a night out and we'd like to meet lots of new people.

Unfortunatly plans to have our own band was nixed by the bar who have their own house band for that night. But they're very good and go on around 10:00 later that evening. So tickets include a drink, meal, movie, and a band!!! Wow, try and get that at Blockbuster.

Note we only make money off of tickets sold in ADVANCE so please get your tickets from us.

On another note look forward to a make-over to our little site in the near future. I'm going to switch from an online editor provided by Tripod. It is very convienent, unfortunatly it hasn't been functioning very well lately (which is why I haven't added as many pictures as I had hoped) so I'll try another program for a while.

Till later,
Terry

Alas, the more busy I become the less time there leaves to say hello. I'd just like to thank everyone who was able to participate in the second shoot. I realize it was very short notice. But I believe it made a very important addition to the movie.

I'd like to thank Tim again for all his work with the sound, and for delivering it, twice, in a very timely manner.

Geoff it was very nice to hear from you again. I hope it won't be too long before I hear again, but love does take us on strange trips.

And well, it looks like KC didn't jump off a plane as promised.

Myself I spent serious amounts of time and ca$h sorting out some technical issues but am happy to report everythings now as it should be and I am very optimistic.

Inbetween this I'm sad to say I only got to a single Fringe play. But I did manage to take in Pantera on Wednesday, unfortunatly the guard found my recording device so I only got to enjoy it once ...:-) And hey Deb and I saw BIG at Rainbow stage. It was rather good. Follows the movie very closely. Recommended if you like the song and dance.

Well, toodles and cheers. Email email if your curious about anything. Deb's working on a social date, check back for announcements. But don't get worried if I don't update for a while, it only means I'm busy preparing things.

Past Updates:

July 18, 2001

Well now we're into the re-shoots. Well sort-of. This Friday I'll shoot a brief interview with Geoff. Hopefully it will help in the editing, which is now schedualed to begin Monday. Hopefully I'll be able to get some Fringe in as well. Last year was my first year of taking in the Fringe and its a hoot. There's nothing like seeing a different play every hour. Just don't park at a meter during the week.

Some more pictures up, and more on the way. Keep an eye for Geoff's storyboards also to be posted. I also might post downloadable MPG clips next week, depending how well things progress...

July 17, 2001

Oh what a week-end! Well its almost somewhere near approximately done. Check out the new photo page for a few site pictures. I had a lot more but the tripod site starting getting weird on me so I'll add more next time.

We're now in the all important editing stage, and to make sure I could share MPGs with the computer its being done on I upgraded to Win ME today. Oh you haven't had fun until you've tried doing that boys and girls... I won't bore you with details suffice to say I've lost many email addresses so if you could send me a hello and help stock up my new improved (?) Outlook Express.

Talk Later,
Terry

July Friday the 13th, 2001

One day before shoot day and things are nutty. I asked Debbie if she had anything to say tonight and she said, "Oh God please help us" Then it rained...

But rain or shine its full steam ahead for tomorrow. The call sheet is up, please excuse the formatting WordPad is buggy when it comes to using TABS.

We have lights, extension cords, fake boobs, and salad dip. Some have cancelled and some have came on board today. No idea what to expect, a month's worth of planning all happens tomorrow. G'luck and fer gawds sake show up will ya!!!

July 11, 2001

Well we got a few more extras but we would be more comfortable if we had a little more crew. We got our permit from the city, most of the costumes, and a whole whack of food. It looks like things are almost ready to go.

There's a new script online. Its not a new version it just has the shot numbers inserted. For those who would like to get an idea how we plan to divide up the shots. Please note due to abstract chaos a Call sheet (schedual) will likely not be online until Friday.

July 9, 2001

Hello friends and new associates. Just letting you know there will be a production meeting tomorrow Tuesday the 10nth at the WFG building in the studio room. Meeting starts at 7 and be advised the elevators do not let people up after 7:30.

We hope to go through production plans for the first 30 mins and then try a read through with any and all actors who can make it.

July 7, 2001

Just a quick note to let you know the new (and hopefully final) version of the script is now online. We're looking for a rehearsal tomorrow at 3 on location at KC's house.

We now have our lights. But we still need a few more people for crew and of course extras.

July 5, 2001

You'll notice below the first shot of the The Lost Soles. We decided to get a shot of the moon while it was full. Unfortunatly we weren't able to get it on location. Of which there are now pictures in the new Location area of the site.

I'd like to welcome Tim of The Demo Den who has generously agreed to do the sound for us.

Final script soon... I promise, I really do.

We hope to find some lights tomorrow. We have acquired some costumes and Geoff has returned to us. Look for Geoff's cool paintings in the Spotlight area.

Things are looking cautiously good at the moment.

June 29, 2001

Expect a new version of the script online in a few days. Nothing too drastic, corrections and the scenes with the 'Heffa' will be integrated. As well the party portion will now be a daytime scene to make shooting easier.

It looks like the shoot date will with all likelyhood be Saturday July 14. We're looking at a start time of 2pm and finish at 12. So book off that date.

June 25, 2001

Well we went to see a rough cut of Inertia. Some really funny moments. But on to buisness, the script for the Lost Soles is now online and ready for download. I decided not to zip it as its only about 27kb. Check here for the posting of all future revisions.

Note to KC, the extra parts are on the Message Board. I'll have them integraded into the script soon.

Note to everyone else, we're kicking around various dates for filming and its looking like Sunday July 15 at this point. We're also looking at the week-end of July 7. We've agreed to agree on a date next week-end.

If you haven't volunteered yet be sure to email me! Its very exciting to finally be getting a project off the ground.

June 20, 2001

We have a new message board for all your communication needs. Hope you like it.

June 11, 2001

Yesterday I was an extra on a film. I believe the title was East of Eulucid. They asked that I dress in 70's clothing so Deb and I took a run to Value Village. It was actually pretty fun it was a party/social scene shot from above. Main character plowed through as we drank fake beers and pretended to polka.

The message board is unaccesable. You need to register with tripod and it isn't very good anyway. So I'll keep my eyes open for something to replace the old one (which I thought was very adequate I'll miss it).

And some new pictures up. Even more on the way! And now that Debz got a new camera there may be a flood more on the way!!! You should see all the great footage we've been getting with it.

May 28,2001

Well took in a writing seminar over the week-end. Think I slept through most of it. And after Deb and I spent so much time trying to see all the movies and I had to scramble to get in. I'll try and rest up for the second part.

Good to see KC is finding some work in the field. I think we have a professional in our midst. Quick get the bamboo canes and torture him.

There's talk of a mass meeting on Thursday. No location yet. KC is determined to get a script out of everyone. My version is long overdue so I'll make a comitment to have it ready for Thursday. Then we can pass the torch to Geoff who'll probably draw his version.

June 4, 2001

Okay so I didn't have mine done for last Thursday but I've started and things look good for this Thursday.

So where was Geoff? We were promised Geoff, there was KC, there was Debbie, but no Geoff! Geoff is missing! Someone please find Geoff!!!

So its Thursday again probably at Humpty's. Although it looks a little later then last time, perhaps ten?

The writting seminar wrapped up and was very informative. Some of it was a rehash but I did learn a few things and it was very well rounded. It was a nice touch to have some real movies used as examples.

May 16, 2001

Hey me and Deb just saw Snatch and Chocolate. Loved em both they were awesome!!! And only $2 a film.

Got some new CDs;
REM REVEAL - sounds like their old stuff only a bit more laid back. Nothing too brilliant but its great to sink into for an hour.
MEGADETH WORLD NEEDS A HERO - Cover has a bloody skeleton coming out of guys chest ala Alien. What more do you need?
DEPECHE MODE - Laid back like REM, nothing suprising or out there. Good to mellow out to.

Some drunk guy was just banging on the side of my house...
Had $200 dollars stolen from me at work.
Seized the engine in my car.
Not to mention... ah thats enough lets concentrate on things we want.

Extra thing didn't happen. At least the guy called to let me know. Seemed genuinely sincere in his 'disapointment'. Ah showbiz.

I have a portion of a script (30 pages) I need to break down into a proposal for some friends of mine. IE a shot list and logistics for shooting. And a budget. Email me if interested in helping out.

Hot 103 had annonced a casting call for a few pictures this summer. Info is at 253-4977 or you can mail a recent picture of yourself and a spec sheet to Box 1907 R3C-3R2.

Well, just got off the phone. Looks like I'm going to be an extra. Its a wedding scene in 1890. Its going to be an all night shoot this Friday.

BTW they requested my jacket size, neck size, pant size, and my shoe size. They also asked if I were aboriginal, and told me not to shave.

Well I guess I just may be off to the achievment bin.

Oh boy trouble on Friday. People not speaking to each other. Yep sounds like a good time was had by all.

Oh and the Mummy was great. Loved the pygmies.

.So it looks like we've moved from the King's Head to the Yacht Club for Friday gatherings. This Friday I'm interested in seeing the Mummy Returns, perhaps you'd all like to check it out before the club?

BTW my old terror25@HOME.com address is back up.

What a week! First off none of my pictures turned out from Calgary which was very disappointing. But my recording of the second Calgary show was pretty good and is currently making its way around the net.

Next off I'd like to thank Debbie for that nice dinner party, its too bad I arrived late and missed most of it.

And the other 'girls' for later that night. Its always a good feeling to come stumbling home at 7 in the morning.

And BTW my shoes were taken (no joke) but I got them back. I think Lost Soles is becoming more and more appropriate.
